Peter McCaughey | Lead Artist / Director
Peter is the Lead Artist developing and delivering Art & Living : Laurieston, an award-winning 10-year art strategy for Laurieston, South Glasgow, he is Vice Chair of the Board of WASPS Artists Studio, has served as Vice President of the Scottish Artists Union, is a Senior Lecturer in the Sculpture and Environmental Art Department of the Glasgow School of Art and teaches Mapping tactics across the UK and Europe.
As Lead Artist of WAVEparticle Peter has curated and delivered artwork for temporary installations and permanent commissions, as well as leading on community animation, place-making and masterplanning projects across the UK. Over the last six years, WAVEparticle has worked all across Scotland, delivering over twenty government-supported planning charrettes. WAVE supports particle, McCaughey’s independent self-directed practice, including Cultural Hijack.
Lizzy O'Brien | Fundraising / Press / Publicity
Lizzy O’Brien is a part-time fundraiser and currently manages fundraising and press for WAVEparticle. Lizzy O’Brien also works as a fundraiser for a range of arts organisations including NVA and The Hidden Gardens and has helped both organisations secure significant funding towards a range of projects.
Judit Bodor | Producer
Judit is a curator and producer who joined WAVEparticle in October 2017 following completion of her PhD in curatorial practice at Aberystwyth University and National Museum Wales. She is responsible for production managing projects led by Peter McCaughey including Scotland's Collateral Event at the 16th Architectural Biennale. She is also a tutor on MLitt Curatorial Practice at Glasgow School of Art, co-founder of artist-led press Gordian Projects and undertakes freelance curatorial projects internationally.
Elizabeth Murphy | Producer
Elizabeth recently completed the MFA at Glasgow School of Art and is the previous director of The Royal Standard in Liverpool. Elizabeth is the recent recipient of the LUX Scotland research award with Adam Lewis-Jacob for their project Hollow House and The Convenience Complex. Elizabeth provides administration and production support to WAVEparticle projects and has previous experience managing projects and performances outside of formal gallery structures.
Harald Turek | Senior Designer
Harald Turek is an artist and specialist in visual imaging. Harald Turek specialises in participatory projects, often in the public realm. Harald is co-Director of SWITCH, an artist-led initiative based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, showing contemporary artists films in a public context. The 2013 edition saw submissions from over 800 contributors. Harald is also co-Director of the Glasgow International Artists Bookfair and works as Digital Media Team Leader for The Glasgow School of Art.
